Calcly is operated by Rock Software Oy, Finland, which is the data controller for the personal data described below.

1. No tracking cookies

Calcly does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and does not use cross-site tracking. We only use a session cookie while you are logged in to your dashboard, which is strictly necessary for the service to work.

2. Data we collect about you (as a Calcly customer)

  • Account and billing details you provide, processed by our payment provider, Stripe, when you subscribe to a paid plan.
  • The calculators you build (questions, formulas, result text).
  • Support messages you send us.

3. Data your calculators collect (your visitors)

When someone fills in a calculator you built and embedded on your site, their answers and any contact details you asked for are stored so you can see them in your dashboard and export them. This data belongs to you; we process it on your behalf and do not use it for our own purposes. You are responsible for telling your own visitors what you do with their answers.

4. Aggregate usage metrics

We keep simple, anonymous counts (such as page views and sign-ups) to understand how Calcly is used. These counts are not tied to an individual visitor and are not collected using cookies or fingerprinting.

5. Who we share data with

We use Stripe to process payments and GitHub-based infrastructure to run the service. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone else except where required by law.

6. Retention and deletion

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your calculators and the submissions they collected are deleted. You can ask for a copy of your data or for deletion at any time through the support page.

7. Your rights

If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing, under the GDPR. Contact us through the support page to exercise these rights.
